Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Justice has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to publish judicial rulings related to intellectual property. The agreement, signed on November 4, 2025, marks a significant step toward greater transparency and legal accessibility in the Kingdom.
Through this collaboration, the Ministry and WIPO will work together to make IP-related court decisions publicly available and to exchange judicial experience and best practices. The initiative highlights Saudi Arabia’s commitment to advancing its IP legal infrastructure in line with international standards.
For rights holders and practitioners, access to published IP rulings will provide valuable guidance on how Saudi courts interpret and enforce IP laws. This improved visibility into case outcomes will help refine enforcement strategies, assess litigation risk, and support stronger IP portfolio management across the Saudi market.
