The Syrian government has recently revised the official publication fees in connection with the registration and renewal of trademarks and designs in the country. By virtue of Ministerial Resolution no. 2953, issued on December 14, 2009, the publication fees have doubled in comparison with their current level. The new rates will be applicable as of January 1, 2010.
