The 2011 annuity fees in Saudi Arabia and the GCC are now due for settlement. To elaborate, a maintenance fee in Saudi Arabia and the GCC is, as a rule, due annually and is payable the first 3 months of each calendar year following the year the patent application was filed. This means that the 2011 annuity fees on pending and granted patents in Saudi Arabia and the GCC will be payable starting January 1 until March 31, 2011. There is a 3-month grace period ending June 30, 2011 for late payment with a surcharge.
