The Iraqi Trademark Office has recently released an additional list of trademark registrations with files destroyed as a result of the war. The official announcement released on the 20th of September 2010, states that the Office will begin the revision of files with registration numbers from 16091 to 22999. In case of any missing documents, owners will be asked to complete all the necessary requirements by no later than March 20th, 2011. Trademark registrations with records that remain incomplete after this date will be considered abandoned. It is not clear at this stage whether the deadline will be extended.
