In the intention of combating counterfeit drugs, the Bahraini International Health Regulations Committee is supervising and monitoring the import of all medicines and medical supplies, through inspectors and employees responsible for these products, as soon as the products reach the border. For your information, the goal and scope of the Committee are to enhance public health and prevent foreign international traffic and trade. The Ministry of Health clarified that all pharmaceutical products found in pharmacies and stores are safe and genuine. They stressed on the fact of buying medicines from accredited sources and not from any other resource.
