The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) welcomed the deposit of the instrument of accession of United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Protocol Relating to the Madrid Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Marks on September 28, 2021. The agreement is expected to enter into force on December 28, 2021.
