The Iraqi Trademark Office has recently revised its local sub-classification of goods and services with updates mainly involving class headings 35 and 42. Class 35 was revised by merging sub-classes 35-b and 35-c into one sub-class 35-b (business management; business administration). Also, a new sub-class, 42-i (security service for the protection of property and individuals; personal and social services rendered by others to meet the needs of individuals) was added to class 42.
