Jordan: The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization welcomed the deposit of the instrument of accession of Jordan on August 14, 2008 to the Vienna Agreement Establishing an International Classification of the Figurative Elements of Marks, the Nice Agreement Concerning the International Classification of Goods and Services for the Purposes of the Registration of Marks, and to the Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purposes of Patent Procedure. The treaties will enter into force on November 14, 2008.
Turkey: The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization welcomed the deposit of the instrument of accession of Turkey on August 28, 2008 to the WIPO Copyright Treaty and the WIPO Performances and Phonograms Treaty. The treaties will enter into force on November 28, 2008.
