Kuwait granted 25 patents in the first 6 months of 2024, marking a total of approximately 4,000 patent-related actions including applications, renewals, and examinations in the first half of 2024, according to data released by the Patent Office.
A total of 339 new patent applications were recorded, with May witnessing the highest number at 71 applications. Patent examinations totaled 311, with June leading at 72. As for renewals, a total of 3,039 were filed, with January having the highest count at 1,170 renewals.
