More than 100,000 pirated CDs, DVDs, computer games, and unlicensed computer software were destroyed last month by the Lebanese IT and IPR Law Enforcement Office. Such a major destruction sends a direct warning message to all of those who are polluting the Lebanese markets with pirated products. The items were confiscated in the course of the past two months during large-scale raids conducted by the IT and IPR Law Enforcement Office targeting computer and music shops in Beirut and its suburbs.
