By virtue of Legislative Decree no. 404 of 2007, issued on September 26, 2007, the Syrian government announced its approval of the country’s accession to the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs. Accordingly, the Syrian authorities concerned are now requested to deposit the instrument of accession to the Hague Agreement in accordance with its provisions. Further developments in the matter will be reported in due course.
